CURRENT WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Vinyasa Flow - Through intention, breath and movement of both energy and physicality (with just the right amount of joy & suffering) we will work on building a sustainable inner landscape through the use of our physical bodies. Although the class will begin with flow we will work towards a place of stillness, integration and marination within the asana. Our goal, is to find balance between stira (steadiness/effort) and sukha (ease/bliss) on the mat so that we enter into the world embodied with these qualities and equipped for just about anything life throws at us.
Inegrated Vinyasa - is a yoga practice rooted in intelligent, natural evolutionary patterns and emphasizes the subtle inner work we access via our physical bodies and movement. It unifies the polarities of alignment and flow, anatomy and energetics, engagement and relaxation, outer and inner, focus and release, structure and spontaneity, and work and play. More than simply a style of yoga, Integrated VinyasaTM illuminates our relationship with Nature, our interconnectedness and an energetically sustainable approach to living fully.
Yoga for Active Seniors- with the use of folding chairs, straps and blocks we approach the idea of moving our bodies in an extra-ordinary way! With a more sedentary lifestyles comes certain physical constraints, limitations and challenges. In this class we explore what it means to keep our bodies, minds and spirits at the top of their game as we age with grace.
Wheelchair Yoga - same description as above but with a more modified approach for those living life in a wheelchair or with the aid of a walker.
